The Backstory
A country the size of a football pitch
In 1967 the Bates family claimed an abandoned wartime fortress seven miles off the English coast and declared it a country. The Principality of Sealand has flown its own flag in the North Sea ever since. Now that country is taking to the pitch, and everyone on earth qualifies as a supporter.
